I am who I say I am

Well, I’ve finally decided to try out Friendster’s blogging facility…..jump on the bandwagon, so to speak. Frankly, blogging is not new to me….I have had 2 blog sites( 1 of which even had the moon phases beamed live) which, unfortunately I did not have the time to maintain and the simple fact that I forgot the hell my password. Haha forgetful ol’ me.

So to start afresh, I’ve decided to allow my bitch rant to continue here….haha. I’ll be totally honest, this blog’s not for you if you’re not ready for the truth. "Can you handle the truth?!"*

I do realise though, a little background is in order.

Simple enough, if you read this blog through friendster, then you already know a little bit about me. A few background info, I’m Singaporean Chinese (as a certain Ms Holly would love to capitalise on that issue) not any China chinese-god forbid! So lay off the jokes about my mandarin, my mom’s Jap so there!(no point to it) *grin* By the way, for people who actually care-I’ve shuck my hair short like a maltese. I know I know, what the friggin hell?? Though I have to say, my head feels much lighter……

I enjoy surfing online, strictly surfing not chatting or playing games. It’s amazing what you can find out there. I love to read people’s blogs, my fave being a regular commentor on Dougzworld, Mr Prince_Charming’s blog site. I think bloggin is a really wonderful way to enforce an opinion on avid readers who’ll read anything. Kinda like reading gossip rags. Only thing is that you’re reading into the lives of ORDINARY people, not celebrities. It kinda makes me feel I’m not alone…..

The same way we ALL love to browse our friend’s profiles and snigger to ourselves (for whatever reasons). For the life of me, I cannot fathom profiles with really cutesy names-ones that changes constantly. Is that a fad? All I know is that it just makes finding them just, that little bit, much harder. With all the —-@@@ or whatever, the double alphabets and etc….sigh. Everyone’s getting kinda creative each day aren’t they?

Except plain ol’ me ;-) I’m honest like hell and plain like prata.

A few minutes before this blogging, I was stumbling onto (with all intentions) other people’s testimonials. And, lo and behold! ++++===@@@^^^%%% rules the testimonials. I did not realise how ASCII codes could be so beautiful to look at, with a few simple lines kinda like those you find on Japanese stationeries. Short little quotes or phrases that do not actually mean any shit. I thank my friends for not attempting to write such creative testimonials, I’d be hard pressed to share them.
